Dream - 03SIDIAN (From the Album ANIMALS released on 30/April/2020)

Biologically we are animals, to be precise mammals. Adaptive mutations in the evolutionary cycle, derived from genetic changes in response to changes in the conditions and environment. The evolution of the Human genus that over time has taken over all the species present on Earth.

Dream is the first of eleven shamanic rites, prayers in connection with the spirits of nature that protect life in all its forms. Eleven incarnations of the spirits made by the Finnish artist Jenni Österlund with whom 03SIDIAN collaborates for the creation of the artwork and visual representation of the music. The incarnations, in shape of masks, will be disclosed after the album's publication.

The dream, a phase in which our subconscious meets with the spirits of the nous the great planet guarded by the gods. We are on earth with a purpose, to understand, to seek, to learn, the dream is an important phase for the realisation of ethereal concepts, difficult to understand in everyday life.

The spirit of the forest appears in a journey with a pressing rhythm, three-dimensional music wraps and accompanies the journey, it is the flow of blood, and with it a thousand cellular messages are exchanged with the supply of new oxygen, energy exchanges, micro shocks of the nervous system , new brain connections. The spirit sings to me with the distant voice, calls me into the forest, seduces me with its body in sinuous movement, I follow it I try to understand, a thousand images and a thousand other illusions stand out with bright colours, it is fire, the fire burns the forests , the spirit burns, secular trees talk to each other, and they burn, the earth burns, the plants, its animals, the birds singing, the wind no longer murmurs among the leaves, the spirit accompanies me where it all began, we have to start from them.
The incarnation of the spirits are made by the Finnish artist Jenni Österlund who has previously been working with visualising music and preparing visual representations of sound, feelings and music.
